“Being Kids" OPEN PLAY TIME

 Wednesday – Friday       9:00 – 11:30

We will reopen on Wednesday, September 10, 2008

Bring your kids, ages 6 and under.  **No advance registration needed!

**NOTE:  Due to the popularity of open play, we would appreciate it if large groups would call ahead so we can staff properly.  Thank you.

Drop in for $3 per child with Zone Players Card or $5 per child without Zone Players Card (maximum per family visit, $7.50 with Zone Players Card).  Punch cards are also available and offer convenience and one free play.  Please ask at the Front Desk if you want to purchase one.

In a comfortable, climate-controlled environment, come play with your kids on the field, participate in yoga, or soccer, enjoy a great book over a delicious smoothie or latte at the “Fair Play Café”, or catch up with friends … all while your children are enjoying time just "Being Kids" at The Zone Sportsplex!

“Kids' Yoga”

 

 

 

 

“Women's Soccer Fundamentals Level I (Beginner)” (Instructor:  John Wedge)

This class is designed for women that are returning to the game of soccer, those who want to fine-tune their soccer skills or those who have never stepped foot on a soccer field!  Through various drills and activities, Coach John will demonstrate the basics of the game:  Proper warm-up, how to pass, trap, dribble and throw in the soccer ball, along with general physical conditioning exercises.   Anyone registered for this class is welcome to stay, at no extra charge, for WOMEN'S OPEN PLAY SOCCER from 11-Noon, directly following this class.

“Lil Kickers”

Lil' Kickers is a non-competitive, introductory soccer and movement skills program for boys and girls ages 18 months to 9 years.  In Lil' Kickers we don't just teach soccer to kids, but use soccer to teach kids about teamwork and cooperation.  Lil' Kickers is the ultimate child development program in the United States

Declared the "game for all kids" by US Youth Soccer, the Washington State Youth Soccer Association is a proud supporter of this very special program.  United States TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, ages 4-19, who has a mental or physical disability.
